In 2018 Schiebel partnered with Raytheon delivered 3 Camcopter S-100 drones under Navy Minor Project 1942 as an interim shipborne vertical takeoff and landing aircraft.
In May 2022, the S-100 was confirmed as the winner of the Sea 129 Phase 5 program to run from 2024 to 2028 to provide an undisclosed number of drones (possible 40) to be embarked on the 8 Anzac class frigates and 12 Arafura class OPVs the first of which will be commissioned in 2023
