US President Hueys. Two additional USMC UH-1N ( BuNos 158277 & 158278 ) were fitted as VIP prior delivery of VH-1Ns. All moved to AMARC and then converted to HH-1N rescue helicopters for mainland duties
There is a VH-1N on indoor display at the USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park in Mobile. I worked on UH-1N’s for HMLA-169, HMLA-267, and MAG-42 Det C (90-97) and I currently maintain them for the USAF. Shannon Bronson at Kirtland AFB, NM
