The German state of Nordrhein-Westfalen (NRW) has now become the second customer to receive the H145 in police configuration.

On 7 September 2016, the local minister of interior Ralf Jäger handed over the first of 6 H145s to the Dusseldorf police squadron.

The helicopter squadron averages around 2,000 missions a year.
