Rotorsun

Rotorsun S.L. (RTS) is a private Spanish aviation company specializing in aerial work operations, founded in 1998 by professionals with extensive experience in the helicopter sector. Headquartered in Águilas, in the Murcia region of Spain, the company operates as a dedicated rotary-wing service provider across the country.

Its core activities focus on wildfire management—including prevention, coordination, and aerial firefighting—alongside agricultural operations such as crop spraying and pest control. Rotorsun also supports infrastructure maintenance, particularly for electrical networks, conducting tasks such as insulator cleaning and thermographic inspections.

In addition to these primary roles, the company provides services for civil protection agencies, external load transport in remote or hard-to-access areas, and aerial filming for events and media production.

Rotorsun operates a fleet of approximately 28 helicopters, composed mainly of utility and medium twin-engine types, including the Bell 212, Bell 412, Bell 407, and the Bell 206, enabling it to cover a wide range of specialized aerial missions.
