The Helicopter Company

Established in 2019 by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), The Helicopter Company (THC) is Saudi Arabia's first and leading commercial helicopter operator. As a critical component of Saudi Vision 2030, THC was created to build a brand-new general aviation ecosystem that didn't exist just a few years ago. Headquartered in Riyadh, the company initially focused on providing air mobility for massive giga-projects like NEOM and Red Sea Global, but it has since rapidly expanded its mission to include urban transportation and high-end tourism services.

Today, THC operates a diverse and growing fleet of over 60 aircraft, including advanced models like the Airbus H125 and Leonardo AW139. Beyond luxury charters and supporting filmography or sporting events like Formula 1, one of its most impactful roles is running a large-scale Emergency Medical Services (HEMS) program in partnership with the Saudi Red Crescent, which has already saved thousands of lives.

In 2023 acquired global helicopter dealership Rotortrade (RT).

With plans to manage more than 100 helicopters by 2026 and a recent majority stake acquisition in the African operator Heliconia, THC is positioning itself to become a dominant global player in the rotorcraft industry.
