The Second 10th, part of 176th Wing (176 WG), Alaska National Guard, along with the 211th RQS (HC-130 Hercules) and 212 RQS ( Parajumpers Air Force, PJs ). Their linage:

1946 - 10th Air Rescue Squadron ( 10 ARS )
1952/1960 - 71st Air Rescue Squadron ( 71 ARS )
1970/1987 - 71 ARS

1990 - 210th Air Rescue Squadron ( 210 ARS ), Alaska Air National Guard
            1994 - Det.1 to Eielson AFB
1995 - 210th Rescue Squadron ( 210 RQS )

The 210th became the first US-based rescue unit to receive the new MH-60G Pave Hawk helicopter when its first one arrived in June 1990. They would be redesignated HH-60Gs in 1992.

On night of 30/31 Mar 2013, an HH-60G from 210th RQS was involved in the search for Alaska State Trooper AS350 Squirrel N911AA which had crashed.
