Atlantic Mobile Health — also known as Atlantic Ambulance — is the medical transportation division of Atlantic Health System in New Jersey. It operates as a nonprofit provider offering a full spectrum of ground and air medical transport services, including Basic Life Support units, Mobile Intensive Care Units (MICUs), critical-care specialty teams, and coordinated inter-facility transfers through its Patient Transfer Center. The organization also runs its own communications center and training programs, supporting both its staff and the wider EMS community.
Serving hospitals, physicians, long-term care facilities, emergency services and regional partners, Atlantic Mobile Health has expanded its infrastructure in recent years, including a modern 12,000-sq-ft operations facility in Newton, NJ. Its integration with a major health system allows it to combine advanced clinical resources with dedicated transport capabilities, positioning it as one of the most comprehensive medical transport providers in the state.
