Gudrun is a gas / condensate field, discovered in 1974 towards the western edge of the Norwegian Northern North Sea. The reservoir is structurally complex, with oil from the Draupne (Upper Jurassic) and gas from the Hugin (Middle Jurassic) Formations at a depth of c 4.5km. It began producing gas and oil in Apr 2014, both being sent out via the Sleipner A hub but by 2018 volumes were already starting to decline.
