Ivar Aasen is a collective name for the development of three fields, discovered almost 15 years apart. West Cable (1994), Hanz (1997) and Ivar Aasen (2008) will be produced from the Ivar Aasen PDQ platform and the product will be exported via the Edvard Greig facility.
The jacket was in place by Jun 2015 and the topside was installed in Jul 2016, with first production in Dec 2016. Together with Edvard Greig and Johan Sverdrup, the three platforms are part of the Johan Sverdrup Helicopter Traffic Zone.
