
First announced on March 2 2017, the MH-139 was Boeing proposal for the supply of up to 84 helicopters to replace the USAF UH-1N with a version of the Leonardo AW139 produced in Philadelphia.
Main contender in the replacement program was the Sikorsky HH-60U. The MH-139 was selected by USAF in September 2018.
