The Huey TH-1L was the advanced trainer for the US Navy based on the HH-1K (Bell 204 with the 540 rotorhead) used at NAS Ellyson Field and NAS Whiting Field in the 1970s early 1980s mostly by HT-18 squadron. Eight utility aircraft UH-1L were also delivered.
They were replaced by the bell TH-57 Sea Ranger

157816/N917SF was repainted as an Army M model and sold to a collector in south Africa. I haven't been able to find the pictures, but I believe 157827was registered as N911SF after being de-mil'ed. Both airframes, and four others I do not have the serial numbers for, where de-mil'ed at Pilot Personnel Inc, Lebanon OR, between 1983 and 1988.
