Kelowna, BC - In 2023, Bell Textron Canada Ltd. confirmed that Alpine Aerotech LP was one of two suppliers selected to provide services for the GLLE Modification embodiment project for the Canadian Forces CH-146 Griffon helicopter update.
The first aircraft in this program has recently arrived in the West Kelowna hangar, and the program will run for the next five years. Aircraft will be delivered into two hangars in British Columbia during this time: West Kelowna and Abbotsford.
They will also be supported by the manufacturing facility in West Kelowna. As a Bell-approved customer service facility (CSF), with a proven track record of exceptional service, Alpine Aerotech is honored to partner with Bell Textron Canada Ltd. to support the Canadian Forces.
The leadership team at Alpine Aerotech has extensive experience in executing the scope of work required for the Griffon limited life extension program.
Alpine Aerotech commenced operations in 1990, and has grown to 170 employees and 112,000 square feet of maintenance facilities, ideally positioned to service this contract. The technical competencies are extensive and include all aspects of maintenance, repair and overhaul, primarily focused on the Bell medium product line.
These competencies include full paint services, heavy maintenance, radio/avionics installations and repairs, manufacturing capabilities, specialty welding and extensive sheet metal resources.
Alpine Aerotech will continue to look for additional employees in all areas of the business to continue to support this large contract.
