

Christophorus Flugrettungsverein ( CFV ) established in 1983. Today the ÖAMTC ( Österreichischer Automobil-, Motorrad- und Touring Club, Austrian Motorist and Touring Club )
is the largest mobility club in Austria with more than 2 million members. It is an economically independent association.
ÖAMTC has its own maintenance facility at HeliAir.
As of 2020, ÖAMTC Air Rescue operates 28 EC135/H135 helicopters from 17 permanent bases and 4 additional bases during the wintertime in Austria performing on average 52 missions per day.
In 2024 ÖAMTC operating 32 H135s from 18 permanent bases plus the 4 additional winter bases completed more than 22,000 missions, with an average of 61 missions per day.
