Located in the State of Washington, then Coast Guard Group Port Angeles, received in 1946 their first helicopter, a Sikorsky (VS-327/S-51) HO3S-1G which was replaced by HO4S / HH-19G in 1951. HH-52 arrived in 1965 which in turn were replaced by the current Dolphins from 1988. As of 2015 they operated the MH-65D variant

Port Angeles Upgrades to MH-65E Dolphin

Jan 7, 2021 · The US Coast Guard completed the 14th MH-65E conversion with the delivery of 3 helicopters to Air Station Port Angeles, WA and one to Aviation Training Center Mobile, AL. All 98 Dolphins scheduled to be upgraded by the end of 2024
USCG Receives First HH-65C

Jun 28, 2006 · US Coast Guard Port Angeles station in Washington received the first of three HH-65C Dolphin "Charlie" helicopters upgraded with the Turbomeca Arriel 2C2-CG turboshaft engines
