1965, HMM-263 /YP in Vietnam

1967, I was a pilot in HMM-263 at Ke Ha, RVN. We flew the UH-34 at that time, call sign Power glide

Sep69, I was assigned to HMM-263 and earned my combat aircrew wings as a crew chief. My aircraft was 153370 and still had hover aft installed. I flew in F model in 1968 belonging to HMM-365 the D model and F model in HMMt-302 and the E model in HMM-262 in Hawaii and by far the D model was my favorite

Oct77, my first squadron I served with was 263. I saw the bullet hole patches from Vietnam around the gunner's windows. I wish I could go back and experience those times again
