| 3 Air Warfare Destroyers ordered Oct 2007. Spanish F100 design selected over US Arleigh Burke Flight II, but fitted with similar AEGIS based combat system from Lockheed Martin. Procurement and construction has been complex causing delays. 3 manufacturers (including BAE Systems and FORGACS) produce sets of blocks which are transported to, integrated and completed at ASC Osborne.  |
