Feb 1994	Deployment	South Atlantic relieved HMS Newcastle for Atlantic Patrol Task (South) around the Falklands Atlantic Patrol Task (South)
2001	Refit	First ship to be fitted with Mod 1, Mk 8 4.5 gun Mk.8 Mod 1 4.5 inch
Apr 12, 2002	Port Visit	Grand Harbour / il-Port il-Kbir / Valletta to Malta to celebrate 60th anniversary of award of George Cross to the island. 815 Sq Lynx HMA.8 ZD565/361 embarked.
Jul 2004	Aircraft	assigned 815 NAS Lynx HMA.8 ZF563 as Ships Flt / 361-NF until c Jan 2005 204 Flt assigned to 815 Squadron
Apr 15, 2005	Decommissioned	following Jul 2004 announcement by UK MoD to reduce Type 23 fleet to 13 vessels.
