1952-apr	Fate: transfered	Fate: transfered sold to Royal Canadian Navy
History of HMCS Bonaventure CVL 22
1957-jan-17	Commissioned	Commissioned into RCN as HMCS Bonaventure
1961	Aircraft	Aircraft Air group included up to 13 Sikorsky HO4S-3 in anti submarine role
1963	Refit	Refit 4 month refit in early 1963, enabling the CHSS-2 to replace the HO4S-3 in the anti-submarine role from 1964.
1966-apr	Refit	Refit Davie Shipbuilding Half-Life refit Fitted Fresnel Landing Aid and Dutch radar systems, improved sea keeping and aircraft handling arrangements.
1967-nov-30	Aircraft	Aircraft Bermuda area Accident CH-124 Sea King 4002 accident off Bermuda
1970-jul-03	Decommissioned	Decommissioned
1971	Fate: scrapped	Fate: scrapped components removed, then hull scrapped in Taiwan. Her anchor is feature of a memorial in Halifax.
