The Tigre (Tiger) Hélicoptère d'Appui Protection (HAP, french for Support and Escort Helicopter ) is the air-to-air combat and fire support variant built for the French Army. Weaponry includes a chin-mounted 30 mm gun turret, 68 mm SNEB unguided rockets, 20 mm machine cannons or Mistral air-to-air missiles. Six were also delivered to the Spanish Army awaiting reception of the more advanced HAD variant
