Esterline Simulation Visual Systems Wins Contract to Provide Collimated Display Systems to CAE USA for the U.S. Navy MH-60 TRPS Program
Esterline Simulation Visual Systems awarded a contract by CAE to provide collimated display systems for the US Navy MH-60 Technical Refresh and Procurement of Simulators (TRPS) Program
Esterline, June 02, 2016 - Esterline Simulation Visual Systems, a new business of Esterline Corporation, has been awarded a contract by CAE USA to provide collimated display systems for the U.S. NAVY MH-60 Technical Refresh and Procurement of Simulators (TRPS) Program.
The total program includes nineteen TREALITY® solid mirror, collimated display (CD) systems that will be installed over a four-year period. Each display system includes support structures, light tightening enclosures, collimating optics, projectors, a projector control system, and an automatic alignment system.
Esterline’s line of TREALITY® collimated displays was designed using its world-class SimCAD software tool, which is recognized as the industry’s most capable and reliable collimated display design tool. SimCAD is optimized for both film and solid mirror collimator display design.
