Established 1988, originally named Kyokuto Boeki ( Japan Royal Helicopters ) was renamed Akagi Helicopters in 2000. With a diverse fleet of Ka-32, K-Max, Lama, Huey and AS350 performs transportation of timber and materials to mountainous areas, aerial photography, charters and general helicopter services. Headquartered at Tokyo Heliport 4-7-15, Shinkiba Koto-ku,Tokyo and with bases in Nara. Associated company Heli-Service Inc at Tochigi Heliport


Akagi Helicopter Acquires H125 to Replace Lamas, 23-Jun-17 : Akagi Helicopter from Japan ordered its first H125/AS350B3e to be delivered in 2018 to replace the last SA315 Lama being in service in the country
