1998-aug-28	Deployment	Deployment HMNB Portsmouth International Festival of Sea Participated in IFoS 1998., Portsmouth, on board Lynx ZF560
2000	Deployment	Deployment South Atlantic Atlantic Patrol Task (South) Atlantic Patrol Task (South), deployed around Falkland Islands between Oct 2000 and Feb 2001, relieving HMS Argyll and herself relieved on station by HMS Glasgow. Returned to UK 23 Feb 2001.
2003-jan	Deployment	Deployment West Indies Guard ship.
2004-sep	Deployment	Deployment South Atlantic Atlantic Patrol Task (South) 4 month deployment as Atlantic Patrol Ship (South). Operated around Falkland Islands between Sep 2004 and Dec 2004, relieving HMS Cardiff and herself relieved by HMS Gloucester. Returned to HMNB Devonport in Dec 2004.

2006-oct	Deployment	Deployment George Town HSB APT(N) Three day visit to Grand Cayman in preparation for Hurricane season in mid Oct.
2007-feb	Refit	Refit Ready for Merlin at Fleet Support Ltd in HMD Portsmouth for 10 month refit including conversion to Merlin operation and a new Chemical, Biological and Nuclear defence package, until Dec 2007
2008-jun	Deployment	Deployment to Caribbean for Atlantic Patrol Task (North) deployment, for counter-narcotics, maritime security and humanitarian relief (during the hurricane season)
2008-aug-31	Deployment	Deployment APT(N) directed to assist in relief operations for Hurricane Gustav around Cayman Brac and Little Cayman.
2008-sep	Deployment	Deployment Hurricane Ike relief operations Sent for 5 day relief mission as part of British contribution, in company with RFA Wave Ruler.

2012-mar	Refit	Refit surface and low level air search radar Type 997 entered an 11 month refit in Portsmouth, to include installation of the Type 997 ARTISAN surveillance radar (first Type 23 to receive this new 3D radar).
2013-jun-23	Trials	Trials departed HMNB Portsmouth for trials with Artisan 3D radar, after refit
2014-jun-20	Deployment	Deployment South Atlantic Atlantic Patrol Task (South) departed HMNB Portsmouth for 6 month Atlantic Patrol Task (South) deployment. Called at Jersey en route and departed 23 Jun. Relieved in S Atlantic by HMS Dragon. Returned to Portsmouth on 19 Dec.
