Helis, October 23, 2018 - The Naval Helicopter Association (NHA) in coordination with Training Air Wing TW-5 are hosting a new edition of the US Navy Fleet Fly-In Event at Naval Air Station Whiting Field in Milton, Florida, October 22-26.
Both Airbus with the H135 and Leonardo with the TH119 are competing in the Advanced Helicopter Trainer program for the future training helicopter for the US Navy and Marine Corps.
The 1970s ageing fleet of 115 Bell TH-57 Sea Ranger current trainers will be replace with 105 new aircraft starting around 2020.
