Large exercise between United States (known as Talisman SABRE) and Australia with all military disciplines. Exercise in Queensland held most at the Shoalwater Bay Training Aerea, also Coral Sea used and most of the aircraft based tdy at Rockhampton. Some fixed wings flew from Rockhapmton and from there own airfield.
Fixed wing participations from Australia: F/A-18, C-17, C-130 Hercules, Beech 350, Airbus 330, Orion. From United States: C-130 Hercules, C-2 Greyhound, C-17, KC-135, Boeing 737. Not all aircraft and ships be present the 3 weeks.
