Official Farewell from Kiel on Sat 23th June 2012. MFG5 (NAW5) will be based in Nordholz/Germany, together with MFG3 (NAW3).
The final SAR duty of the Sea King completed on 15 Aug 2024 at Nordholz, when it was formally replaced by the NH90 Sealion.
