US Coast Guard 1404 : I believe this was the HH-52 we lost at the south pole during our first Deep Freeze trip in 1971 on the USCGC Staten Island. It was lost on Mount Erebus near McMurdo station near the summit. It was never salvaged and is still there as far as I know. All of the crew were rescued
